Soul Shakers,
I’ve missed you.
It has been so very long since I last reached out, as I have been quietly navigating the sacred spaces within my own soul. Life, as it so often does, led me down a path of deep introspection and transformation, and as it did, I allowed myself to disappear into the depths. I went dark to rediscover the light within me.
In the stillness of this journey, I unraveled layers of truth, confronted shadows, and alchemized my world. I moved past the self into a life of absolute magic. This time away has been filled with profound learning, expanding, and growth. Now, I return with a renewed sense of purpose, ready to pour this newfound gold into every aspect of my work and connection with you.
For those of you that have been with me since the beginning, you will remember my early days as a writer, when my words first began to flow into the world in 2012. That was the start of my liberation; when I went from hiding my magic to shining it. I began sharing my inner experience of mysticism -living and learning beyond just my physicalness. Being vulnerable in this way was really freaking scary, but I knew it was my writing that ultimately guided me through life’s complexities, so I kept going. I am so grateful I did. My words have since traveled many loops around the globe, giving rise to this community of Soul Shakers and Magic Makers.
That was until 2014, when I felt a calling to create a sanctuary – where others could find healing, connection, and community. To be fully present with this creation, I had to let something go. Since it wasn’t going to be my kids, hubby, or dog, writing stepped up and volunteered to take a hiatus. Hesitantly, I accepted, and the center – Soul Bottom Wellness – opened its doors, quickly becoming a place of miracles, light, and transformation. It was a beacon that called forth thousands on their journey of discovery. It was glorious and amazing and fulfilling on absolutely every level, as it brought you to me and me to you.
Yet even amidst our sacred work together, I felt a quiet whisper inside urging me to return to my roots - to the essence of who I am and what I am meant to truly share. Again I listened, and in the fall of 2019, I closed the doors of my brick-and-mortar center and shifted my work to a more intimate, virtual space. I went from working with over 100 clients per month to just a handful per year. At that time, my body was on the brink of collapse, and my heart was deeply submerged under an energetic debris field. No amount of aura cleansing or grounding techniques would have saved me. I needed a hard reset, so I took it.
In a blink, I went from going, going, going… to softness, stillness, and sacredness. It was surreal and felt like my Maker had picked me up and whipped me into a gigantic pile of feather pillows – feeling the blow at first, but immediately sinking into a comfort that made me cry tears of relief.
Six months later, the world shut down due to covid. I picked my head up in disbelief, and immediately heard my Maker whispering words I will never forget:
“This here now.
This, begins the time of the healer.
You have everything you need. Utilize it.
Don’t argue. Don’t fret. Just trust. Be still. And know that you are mine”
Upon hearing those words, I fell to my knees with deep gratitude while simultaneously crying for the ache of humanity. It was the ultimate juxtaposition. In a flash, I knew this pause in the timeline was my once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to deeply recalibrate. I took it. Breathing in the sacred moments that followed, I wholly alchemized the magic that has always been within me and now emerge the butterfly.
Sitting here, wings fully unfurled, I understand something so simple yet so profound:
Life is in no way about fixing, healing, or finding ourselves. Life is for accepting and alchemizing all that we already are, so we can move beyond the self and live a life of magic while we are still alive to experience it.
It is in the spirit of this profound truth that I once again listen to the whisper within, and decided to write a whole new book, in a whole new form, with a whole new magic from the perspective of the butterfly. This field of magic is for those who are already in, or are ready for, their Golden Era. I will be writing and sharing inspired, channeled teachings over in the Library, and I am super excited to say, that you can also find me through live, experiential, in-person Magic Maker gatherings where we explore the big questions that stir our souls and dive deep into the magic that is within us.
The inaugural Golden Era Gathering will be a tea party held on Sunday, October 13th. Our theme, “Curiouser & Curiouser”, pulls from one of my all-time favorite childhood books, Alice in Wonderland.
